Applying for a University of Sydney International Scholarship is a simple, straightforward process. To apply, first you need to choose a degree and check your eligibility. Admission is highly competitive, so make sure to review the types of degrees we offer and check the eligibility requirements for the research degree you would like to apply for. Once you’ve determined that you’re eligible, develop your research ideas and find a supervisor. Use the Research Supervisor Connect database to search for current research supervisors and research projects. Use the “Contact Research Expert” button on the project page to submit an inquiry to a supervisor.

Once you’ve found a supervisor, you can submit an application for a University of Sydney International Scholarship. There are four scholarship amounts offered based on ranking against the selection criteria. These scholarship amounts include $40,000 for one year in two equal instalments per semester, $20,000 for one semester, $10,000 for one semester, and $5,000 for one semester.
